On Saturday, August 22, 2015, 22 HPS colleagues, along with their familes, arrived at Montrose Harbor to participate in World Vision's 6k Run/Walk for Water
. The distance, 6k or 3.72 miles, signifies the average distance that a person in Africa must walk on a daily basis in order to get access to water.
Each registration fee paid for water for one person in Africa for life
and each participant’s race bib pictured the person in Africa for whom their registration provided water.
Our top finisher was staff Debbie Mokeleba who finished 9th in her division with a final time of 31:18. Congrats, Debbie!
