In May 2015, HPS attorneys Marilee Clausing and Kate Dzik secured a victory on behalf of their client, an obstetrician/gynecologist. The plaintiff sought $2.1 million by arguing negligence on the part of the performing physician, but Clausing and Dzik successfully defended their client, noting the injury was a known and recognized complication of the procedure.
