HPS Partner Amy Kane will be co-presenting, “Utilizing Patient Complaint Data as a Strategic Advantage for your Captive,” during the 2017 Cayman Captive Forum in Grand Cayman on November 30, 2017, at 2:00 p.m.
Amy and her fellow speakers will discuss how the diligent and careful management of patient complaints can lead to the successful resolution of complaints and ultimately help reduce claims.

HPS Partner Amy Kane focuses her practice on the defense of hospitals and healthcare professionals against claims of medical negligence. Throughout her career she has handled numerous jury trials covering a broad spectrum of medical issues, many of which involved catastrophic neurologic injury. Amy is a frequent lecturer on various topics such as record keeping, the deposition process and improving patient safety. Amy earned her J.D. from DePaul University College of Law and her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin. She is admitted to practice in Illinois and before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
