| Jake has been an associate with Hall Prangle & Schoonveld, LLC since 2006. He concentrates his practice in the areas of medical malpractice, products liability, premises liability and general tort litigation. In addition to his trial practice, Jake is also a member of the firm's appellate practice group and has experience handling complex matters involving catastrophic injury, statutory/constitutional issues, and general tort liability. He received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2000 and his J.D. from The John Marshall Law School in 2006. While in law school, Jake served as a judicial extern for both Justice David A. Erickson, Illinois Appellate Court, 1st District, and Judge Bruce W. Black, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Northern District of Illinois. He also participated in both the John J. Gibbons National Moot Court Competition and the Chicago Bar Association Moot Court Competition. Jake was also a Dean's List student and research assistant to Professor Susann MacLachlan and The Center for Advocacy and Dispute Resolution.
