Camille Khodadad represents businesses in employment and products liability litigation. She has extensive experience representing employers in employment litigation before administrative agencies such as the Illinois Human Rights Commission, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Office of Civil Rights, the Department of Labor, and state and federal courts across the country.

Camille handles cases under all laws involving the employment relationship including state and federal employment and discrimination laws, the Employment Retirement and Income Security Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Occupational Safety and Health Act, and the Fair Labor Standards Act.

In addition, Camille handles cases involving allegations of state law tort claims such as assault, battery, defamation, tortious interference with contract, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligent supervision and retention, and negligent misrepresentation.

While Camille is a very active litigator, she also counsels clients on measures to adopt to prevent employment litigation. To that end, Camille counsels clients on matters involving employee discipline, employment termination, wage and hour issues, workplace investigations, leaves of absence, and compliance with federal and state employment and discrimination laws. Camille also reviews employer handbooks and conducts training programs regarding sexual harassment, the Family and Medical Leave Act and other employment law topics.

Camille has written a number of articles on a variety of employment law topics. She has lectured before various groups and has taught employment law seminars. Camille was appointed to a special Research Advisory Committee asked to study the acceptability of mediation in federal district court employment lawsuits.

In addition to Camille's employment law practice, she also handles products liability actions. She represents national and international manufacturers in products liability actions filed in the United States - particularly in the aviation industry. Camille also represents and counsels businesses in the handling of commercial class action lawsuits.

Prior to joining HPS, Camille was a partner at Lord, Bissell & Brook in the Commercial Litigation Department and Labor and Employment practice group.
