| Matthew McElligott was admitted to the Illinois bar in 2008. He concentrates his practice of law in the area of medical malpractice defense. Matthew earned his B.A. in Political Science from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa and his J.D. from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois. During his years in law school, Matthew was a member of the John Marshall Law Review, named a Fred F. Herzog Scholar, and elected to the Order of John Marshall. Matthew has experience in a variety of legal settings having clerked for a hospital legal department as well as spending the last two years of law school clerking for a law firm which specializes in personal injury, medical malpractice, and wrongful death litigation.
