| Jason concentrates his practice in the defense of hospitals, medical professionals and other health care providers against medical negligence claims. He earned Bachelor of Science degrees in both Philosophy and Environmental Science from Utah State University. Prior to attending law school he worked in real estate and the construction industry. During law school Jason gained experience in a variety of legal settings. He was an Editor and Notewriter for the Valparaiso Law Review. He assisted Professor Laura G. Dooley in the research and writing of an academic article concerning federal multi-district litigation. He also worked in the Lake County, Indiana Office of the Public Defender and served as a clerk for Judge John R. Pera in the Lake County, Indiana Superior Court, Civil Division.
