HPS Denver attorney, Casey Kannenberg, is featured in “Meet the YLD Chair: A Conversation with Incoming CBA Young Lawyers Division Chair Casey Kannenberg,” in the October 2017 issue of Colorado Lawyer. Casey candidly discusses the reasons for pursuing a career in law, his move from the Midwest to Colorado, as well as the need to create a work-life balance so that the needs of both his clients and his family are met.
Casey also discusses important initiatives he plans to undertake during his tenure as Chair, including expanding the Bullyproof program to more Colorado middle schools. Bullyproof is an anti-bullying campaign that he was instrumental in developing and implementing nationally through the ABA and locally through the CBA. He believes that the Bullyproof program is a great avenue for young lawyers to go out and give back to their communities by working with students to create an environment of acceptance, compassion and non-violence.
Casey also stated that would work to provide high-quality CLE programs, expand the activities of the CBA outside of Denver and will continue his mission of helping young lawyers achieve a balance between their work and home lives with programs like “Lawyers with Littles.”
