Scott Rendleman has 25 years of experience as a trial attorney representing all levels of the healthcare industry: healthcare networks, hospitals, physicians, nurses and health aides. Most of Scott’s trials have involved catastrophic injuries or death with substantial damages claims. Scott has successfully defended the medical profession in both federal and state courts and before administrative bodies. Scott joined the firm’s Denver office as Partner in 2017 as part of the firm’s expansion in a market committed to health and wellness.
Prior to moving to Colorado in 2011, Scott was Partner in a Chicago medical defense and commercial litigation firm, where he tried catastrophic injury and death cases for physicians, hospitals and non-healthcare corporations. In Colorado, Scott is a trial lawyer defending healthcare practitioners and healthcare corporations against high exposure claims of professional negligence, hospital negligence, negligent credentialing, consumer fraud, willful and wanton conduct and Section 1983 violations. Scott has presented to lawyers on strategies for representing healthcare providers and corporations in litigation, and he has written on topics including Peer Review privileges and jury instructions.
