Elizabeth Neidig Named as One of the Law Bulletin’s “40 Under Forty” Illinois Attorneys to Watch for 2018

HPS is pleased to announce that our partner, Elizabeth Neidig, has been named as one of Illinois’ “40 Under Forty” attorneys to watch for 2018 by Law Bulletin Publishing Company, publishers of Chicago Daily Law Bulletin (CDLB). This honor comes as a result of the Law Bulletin Publishing Company’s annual survey to determine the most talented young attorneys practicing in Illinois. To earn the “40 Under Forty” recognition, attorneys must receive nominations and feedback from attorneys in the community, including opposing counsel, competitors, judges, and clients. The nominees are evaluated on “intelligence, passion, success in the office, a desire to help community and, most importantly, a willingness to work hard at one of the country’s most important professions.”

Elizabeth has developed a reputation as a conscientious and thorough defense litigator who utilizes all forms of discovery to prove her client’s case. Through the efficient use of written discovery, early motion practice, consulting with experts, witness preparation and the taking of depositions, she has developed a strong ability to utilize the pre-trial process to advance her client’s cases and narrow issues before the Court.

HPS Partner Jennifer Ries-Buntain commented “Elizabeth’s can-do attitude is an excellent example of how HPS attorneys approach our clients. Elizabeth is able to assess her clients’ needs and, regardless of the difficulty, has the keen ability to utilize the discovery process to efficiently resolve their cases.”

Elizabeth earned her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado. She is admitted to practice in Illinois  and before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. In addition to this recognition, Elizabeth has also been named an “Emerging Lawyer” by Leading Lawyers.

We congratulate Elizabeth on receiving this honor!
