Gina Ambrose focuses her practice on representing healthcare clients against claims of medical negligence, nursing home negligence, and premise liability. Gina has experience representing hospitals, long-term care facilities, assisted living facilities, physicians, nurses, physical therapists, and other healthcare providers in medical and long-term care litigation. She also has experience in commercial litigation matters. Gina has extensive experience in litigating cases from the discovery phase and motion practice to assisting in pretrials, mediations and trials.
During law school, Gina was a Staff Editor of The John Marshall Law Review and worked as a Supervising Teaching Assistant. In addition, she was the Presiding Barrister for the Trial Advocacy and Dispute Resolution Honors Board and Council and competed in multiple national trial advocacy competitions. Gina also served as a clinical student in the John Marshall Veterans Legal Services Clinic, helping veterans with benefits appeals and discharge upgrades.While at Lake Forest College, Gina was the Captain of the Women’s Basketball Team and a Women’s Basketball Representative on the Athletic Council.
Throughout college, Gina was involved in charitable activities for Special Olympics and Relay for Life. She also devoted her time as a reading tutor for the North Chicago Center Programs. She currently volunteers her time as a Trial Advocacy coach for The John Marshall Law School, where she teaches students trial skills and evidence in a trial setting.
