Kalimuthu Expands Capabilities to Support Clients In Ohio

After appearing pro hac vice on several matters in Ohio, HPS Partner, David Kalimuthu, recently obtained his license to practice law in Ohio, expanding the firm’s standing ability to defend clients into that state.

David is an experienced litigator who focuses his practice on defending hospitals, medical professionals, and other healthcare facilities against claims of medical malpractice. He has been involved in many complex cases from early investigation through jury trial.

Before joining our HPS Team in Chicago in 2020, David spent four years practicing medical malpractice and long-term care defense. He has been honored multiple times as a “Rising Star” by Illinois Super Lawyers and received the 2022 Trial Lawyer Excellence Award from Law Bulletin Media's Jury Verdict Reporter.

David earned his law degree magna cum laude and undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
