Jonathon Clark focuses his practice on the defense of healthcare clients against medical negligence claims. He works with other HPS attorneys and the firm's clients to research, develop and execute defensive strategies that match each matter’s requirements.
Before joining HPS as an attorney, Jonathon worked as a summer clerk at HPS. He also clerked for a rotation of judges in Will County, researching family, criminal and civil proceedings. Through this work, he developed an understanding of the litigation process, healthcare litigation defense and further developed his interest in legal research, identifying defensive strategies and devising their practical application.
Jonathon attended the University of Illinois College of Law, where he was an administrative editor of the Elder Law Journal and was a recipient of the Larry Travis Bushong Student Award for best research paper on an issue relating to LGBTQ rights. He also served as vice president of the Student Bar Association.
While studying at the University of Wisconsin, Jonathon worked with the Adventure Learning Programs and interned for a State Representative at the Wisconsin State Capital.
Personally, Jonathon is an avid runner who enjoys other fitness activities, sports, and playing the guitar.
