focuses her practice on representing healthcare clients against claims of medical negligence.
Julie’s interest in medicine dates back to summers spent working in a local medical practice and learning the responsibility of a solo practitioner’s office. In college, she was equally drawn to both medicine and the legal process and found she could combine her dual interests by focusing on health law.
Throughout her years in law school, Julie immersed herself in organizations and activities that would support her interest in healthcare law. She obtained her Health Law Certificate, and was a member and Articles Editor of the Indiana Health Law Review
(IHLR). She was also a member of the National Health Law Moot Court Competition, and put her background to work as an intern at Indiana University Health and as a clerk at the Office of the Indiana Attorney General, Civil Litigation Division.
During law school, Julie was a member of Moot Court (the Honorable Robert H. Staton Intramural Moot Court Competition), named to Order of Barristers (top 25%) and joined the Moot Court Executive Board.
