Kevin Peterson focuses his practice on the defense of medical professionals and hospitals in complex tort, medical malpractice, and products liability actions. He also has experience in general commercial litigation and contract disputes. Kevin has intimate personal experience with a wrongful death/medical malpractice case which enables him to navigate difficult situations delicately and effectively. Additionally, many of Kevin’s immediate family members are medical professionals, including CNAs, RNs, and Physicians, and he experiences firsthand the dedication, compassion, and resolve which medical professionals have in caring for and healing their patients. Litigation can be stressful for those unfamiliar, and Kevin desires to ease that stress through his hard-work and relentless advocacy so that medical professionals and medical institutions can focus on what’s important—saving lives.
Prior to joining HPS in 2019, Kevin served two years as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Kenneth C. Cory in the Eighth Judicial District Court of Nevada. During his third year, Kevin also externed for one year for Judge Cory, giving him a total of three years of invaluable court room experience and behind-the-scenes insight into the judicial decision-making process.
During law school, Kevin served as a law clerk for a reputable employment litigation firm focusing on employment discrimination matters and civil rights. His experience also includes serving as a summer law clerk for a multi-jurisdictional practice focusing on mortgage, real estate, and fair debt collection cases.
