Christina Huszcza focuses her practice on defending healthcare providers and manufacturers in nationwide litigation. Christina has experience in all stages of litigation from pre-suit negotiations through trial. Christina won her first jury trial in December 2016, when a jury in Larimer County, Colorado, awarded the plaintiff $558 in the face of a $1,500,000 demand. Most recently, Christina won a motion to dismiss premised upon the new Colorado pleading standard announced in Warne v. Hall.

Professional Background

Prior to joining HPS, Christina worked for Tucker Ellis LLP, where she defended drug and device manufacturers in nationwide product liability litigation. While working at Tucker Ellis, Christina worked extensively on complex multi-district litigations and coordinated proceedings involving drugs and medical devices. Christina also gained invaluable litigation experience while working at Taylor Anderson, where her practice focused on insurance defense.

Christina has spoken on numerous occasions as part of The Grit Project created by the American Bar Association’s Commission on Women in the Profession. Her presentations include:
