Marjorie Kratsas focuses her practice on personal injury and medical malpractice defense. She also represents clients in numerous complex and catastrophic civil defense litigation matters. Marjorie has experience researching and drafting memorandum and pleadings and actively engages in discovery. In addition, Marjorie has argued motions before Eighth District Court and the Discovery Commissioners and has conducted and defended numerous depositions.
Prior to joining HPS, Marjorie was a senior associate with a mid-size defense firm focusing her practice on medical malpractice and general litigation.
While attending law school, Marjorie was an active member of the Public Interest Law Foundation. During school breaks, she gained valuable experience interning for both the Nevada Attorney General’s Office and the Clark County Nevada Public Defender.
Before her legal career, Marjorie was a paramedic-supervisor and an emergency medical instructor for the College of Southern Nevada.
During law school, Marjorie received a CALI Award, Witkin Award and Jefferson Medal for Trial Practice. In addition, she was a Pro Bono Honors Award recipient.
In her spare time, Marjorie enjoys spending time with her family and cheering on the Las Vegas Golden Knights.
