HPS did not need to go far to pay it forward on Sunday, November 8, 2015. In its endeavor to impact the local community, attorneys, staff and their families from HPS’ Chicago office climbed the 103 floors (2,109 steps) to the top of Willis Tower as part of the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago’s SkyRise. The annual climb benefits the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago where patients are treated for spinal cord injuries, stroke and musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
HPS’ Managing Partner, Jennifer Ries-Buntain and her family, Brian Hendricks, Debbie Mokeleba, Brittany Sullivan, Zach Green, Stephanie Shields and Laura Arendsen all climbed with Team HPS. “We at HPS were inspired by the efforts of the 3,000 climbers,” says Managing Partner Jennifer Ries-Buntain, “especially inspiring were the former RIC patients who participated in the climb. RIC - a firm client - does amazing things, and it was an honor to support them.”
