Nicolette Taber
BIOGRAPHY
Nicolette Taber’s decision to devote her legal career to support healthcare providers and medical device companies was inspired by her upbringing: she comes from a family of medical professionals. Her practice is concentrated in healthcare litigation, employment law, and she also works with HPS Advise, the firm’s consulting subsidiary, counseling clients on regulatory and compliance issues.
Nicolette worked as a law clerk for HPS while attending law school at Loyola University Chicago. While at Loyola, she also interned in the Office of General Counsel of two Chicago hospitals and was a research assistant to Professor Alexander Tsesis. She was also the Student Articles Editor of the Loyola University Chicago Law Journal
and the Coordinating & Marketing Editor of the Annals of Health Law and Life Sciences, Loyola’s health law journal. Nicolette also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Franklin U. Valderrama in the Chancery Court Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County. She earned a Health Law certificate as part of her studies at Loyola.
