April 23, 2024

Molly Pankauskas, Partner at HPS, has expanded her legal practice to now include the state of Wisconsin!

With extensive experience in complex healthcare litigation, Molly specializes in defending medical malpractice claims against hospitals, medical professionals, and other healthcare providers. She has handled many catastrophic injury cases including birth trauma, wrongful death, and significant neurosurgical injury. She also has experience with behavioral health and psychiatric matters as well as product liability issues within the context of medical litigation.

Molly appreciates the challenge of analyzing complex medical issues, and she works to identify critical but often overlooked elements within the medical claims facing her clients. She embraces the challenge of managing the many moving parts associated with each of her cases and excels at putting the pieces together in a way that achieves successful outcomes on behalf of the hospitals and healthcare providers she represents.

Before turning to private practice, Molly worked as a Medical Prosecutor at the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR), gaining valuable insight into the administrative and regulatory processes governing physician licensure. This experience has given her exposure to the licensure and disciplinary process, which has allowed her to assist her clients on a wide range of regulatory issues. Additionally, Molly supports clients across multiple jurisdictions due to her versatile experience with multiple regulatory agencies.
