Kyli Cotten
BIOGRAPHY
Kyli Cotten is an associate at HPS’s Chicago office. She focuses her practice on the defense of healthcare organizations, hospitals, and professionals.
A native of Texas, Kyli earned her J.D. from Baylor University School of Law. She underwent the school’s rigorous Trial Advocacy Program, which ranks 2nd in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. This education and training inspired Kyli’s passion for litigation and trial. Before law school, Kyli earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and History from the University of Texas at Austin, where she graduated with honors.
Prior to joining HPS, Kyli practiced as a plaintiffs' attorney and worked on a wide range of cases including medical malpractice, wrongful death, car accidents, and premises liability. During this time, Kyli gained meaningful courtroom and trial experience. She is excited to continue her career at HPS in Healthcare Litigation.
In 2024, Kyli was recognized in the 30th edition of The Best Lawyers in America “Ones to Watch” list.
