Tania Dawood
BIOGRAPHY
Tania Dawood is an Associate in Hall Prangle and Schoonveld’s Las Vegas office. Tania works with other HPS attorneys to defend healthcare providers, organizations and hospitals. Prior to joining HPS, Tania worked defending hospitals at a national law firm’s Las Vegas office.
She earned her J.D. from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, William S. Boyd School of Law, where she completed the health law concentration and was the treasurer of the Health Law Society. She was a founding member of the Policy and Legislation Society, in which she served as treasurer. She also served as a founder on the board of the UNLV Middle Eastern Law Students Association.
Tania earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from UNLV with a minor in public policy. During her studies she served as leadership for UNLV Muslim Students’ Association, and was involved as an Associate Justice on the Student Government Judicial Council and, Deputy Attorney General on Student Government, and the Secretary of Phi Alpha Delta.
She is a current and founding member of the South Asian Women’s Alliance of Nevada (SWAN) and is a part of the South Asian Bar Association of the State Bar of Nevada.
