HPS Welcomes Five New Associates to Our Chicago and Las Vegas Offices

HPS recently welcomed five new associates to our Chicago and Las Vegas offices. Four out of the five have recently passed the bar and have been sworn in as licensed attorneys in their respective states.

Welcome Joe Ambrose (Chicago), Sirjan Arora (Chicago), Jakub Brzezinski (Chicago), Zane Geller (Las Vegas) and Corinne Moran (Chicago)!

Joe Ambrose is a Michigan native and University of Michigan alum who served two years with Teach For America Corps after undergrad. Joe taught middle school science in Texas before heading to law school at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. During law school, Joe participated in various advocacy competitions and worked as a student attorney in the Prisoner and Reentry Clinic. Joe clerked for a Chicago-based complex civil litigation boutique firm prior to joining HPS.

Sirjan Arora was born in India and raised in Northern Wisconsin. He attended undergrad at University of Wisconsin-Madison, and his passion for law began when he became heavily involved on Wisconsin’s nationally ranked mock trial team. Sirjan moved to Chicago to attend the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law where he served on the Honors Trial Advocacy and Dispute Resolution Board. He also obtained his 7-11 license in law school and practiced as a student attorney while clerking at the HPS Chicago office.

Jakub Brzezinski is a Chicagoland native who attended DePaul University and went on to earn his J.D. from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law. During law school, Jakub was a part of the Trial and Dispute Resolution team where he was able to practice his litigation skills in front of Illinois Federal Judges. Prior to joining HPS, he clerked for a Chicago Plaintiff’s firm where he gained valuable experience in a wide range of cases including medical malpractice, personal injury, wrongful death, and products liability.

Zane Geller was raised in New Mexico and attended the University of New Mexico. After spending lots of time with family in Las Vegas, he decided to relocate and pursue his law degree at William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He graduated law school with a concentration in Business and Commercial Law, and received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in both Health Law and Health Care Fraud and Abuse. Zane was a law clerk for almost two years at the HPS Vegas office before becoming an associate.

Corinne Moran is a former tenured college professor who holds a master’s degree in art history from Columbia University. She worked at The Art Institute of Chicago and taught courses at Harper College before she decided to attend law school at the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law. Corinne was heavily involved as a student attorney at UIC’s business clinic and served as a clerk for the Circuit Court of Cook County, Law Division before joining HPS.
