Corinne Moran
BIOGRAPHY
Corinne Moran is a former tenured college professor turned attorney. She excels at explaining complex concepts, facilitating discussions, and using her research skills to effectively advocate for her clients. As an associate at Hall Prangle and Schoonveld’s Chicago office, Corinne focuses her practice on the defense of healthcare professionals and organizations.
Prior to joining HPS, Corinne was the law clerk for the Circuit Court of Cook County, Law Division, Trial Section’s high-volume asbestos case docket where she gained meaningful motion practice and trial experience.
While juggling the demands of law school, Corinne was a student attorney at UIC Law’s business clinic. She was found to be an effective client advocate, evaluating her clients’ evolving aspirations alongside its legal needs, and tailoring her advocacy efforts accordingly. Her adeptness did not go unnoticed as she was personally invited to continue her advocacy for an additional semester, working there for a full year.
Before establishing her law career, Corinne advocated for a different cohort – her students. She earned a graduate degree in art history from Columbia University in New York, and after working for a time in museum education at The Art Institute of Chicago, she landed an art history faculty position at William Rainey Harper College.
Corinne is still devoted to the visual arts, focusing her attention on where law and art intersect. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her kids, biking, and skiing.
