Elizabeth M. Neidig
BIOGRAPHY
Elizabeth Neidig concentrates her practice in the defense of hospitals, doctors, nurses, nursing homes and other health care providers against medical negligence claims. She has broad experience involving a wide variety of medical claims.
Over the course of her career, Elizabeth has developed a reputation as a conscientious and thorough defense litigator who utilizes all forms of discovery to prove her client’s case. Through the efficient use of written discovery, early motion practice, expert consultation, witness preparation and the taking of depositions, she has developed a keen ability to utilize the pre-trial process to advance her clients’ cases and narrow the issues before the Court. Rather than pushing through discovery as a means to an end, Elizabeth ensures that each step in the discovery process highlights the strengths of her client’s position and is performed to assist in the efficient resolution of the case. Those efforts have enabled Elizabeth to product consistently favorable outcomes for her clients via settlement, and she has also proven to be an effective trial advocate.
In addition to her healthcare litigation work, Elizabeth also represents medical providers in regulatory actions, and in the defense of claims related to non-medical professional negligence and transportation-based personal injury.
In 2018, the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin recognized Elizabeth among its annual “40 Under Forty” list of rising attorneys. She also has been recognized as an “Emerging Lawyer” by Leading Lawyers.
