HPS Attorneys Attend the Chicago Go Red for Women Executive Luncheon

On Friday, February 21, 2020, HPS attorneys Jennifer Ries-Buntain, Ana Cazacu, Sarah Frazer, and Katie Bennett accompanied a client from a local rehabilitation center to the American Heart Association's 16th annual Go Red for Women Executive Luncheon at the Marriott Marquis in Chicago.

The Luncheon was one of over 180 around the country, put on by the American Heart Association (AHA). The AHA began the "Go Red for Women Movement" in 2004 to raise awareness of and educate people about the fact that heart disease is the number one killer of American women. The money raised at the Go Red for Women events goes towards that outreach and research into heart disease and how it impacts women.

Jennifer Ries, a Partner at Hall Prangle and Schoonveld, said that supporting the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women Movement is in the firm's DNA.

"Since our founding in 2002, HPS has provided expert legal advice to our clients. We also have been and are committed to partnering with our clients and others to make our communities better and healthier. We are proud to support the Go Red for Women Movement."

According to GoRedforWomen.org, since 2004, the funds that have been raised at events like the Go Red for Women Executive Luncheon in Chicago have been used to help impact millions of women's health.
