HPS Team Members Race Judicata

Late last month, eleven members of Hall Prangle &Schoonveld, LLC (HPS) took part in the 27th annual Race Judicata, a 5K race benefiting Chicago Volunteer Legal Services Foundation (“CVLS”). Founded in 1964, Chicago Volunteer Legal Services (CVLS) provides accessible and pro bono civil legal aid to the community servicing thousands of Chicagoans annually.  The mission of CLVS is something that HPS is proud to support.  

“Since our founding in 2002, we have always worked to support the communities that we work in,” said Eric Schoonveld, a founding Partner of HPS.  “Race Judicata is an excellent opportunity to do that in Chicago.”

The desire to support the Chicagoland community is a shared sentiment.  Senior associate, Dana Raymond, organized HPS’s participation in Race Judicata 2022, even designing the t-shirts that the HPS team members wore. Raymond shared, “It is important that we as individuals, and as a firm, do what we can to give back to the community.  Participating in Race Judicata is a great way to support such a meaningful cause, be active, and connect with our greater legal community.”
