Michele Anderson Honored with “Top Women Lawyers & Legislators in Leadership” Award by WBAI

The Women's Bar Association of Illinois (WBAI) announced today that Michele Anderson, Hiring Partner at Hall Prangle & Schoonveld, LLC (HPS), is one of the recipients of the 2022 Top Women Lawyers & Legislators in Leadership Awards.

The awards will be conveyed at a reception on October 27, which can be attended with the purchase of a ticket. One of seven of the 2022 recipients, Michele is part of a group of attorneys being recognized for leadership in their respective roles as well as for their work helping other women advance in the practice of law.

Michele Anderson is one of the leaders of HPS’s healthcare practice. She defends Chicago area hospitals and healthcare providers against claims of negligence and has particular experience in matters relating to obstetrics, nursing, and birth trauma. She has won numerous major victories on behalf of health systems and practitioners.

As Hiring Partner at HPS, Michele strives not only to build a roster of elite attorneys but also to foster a community of active mentorship and professional development. In 2019-20, she served as President of the Society of Trial Lawyers, only the second woman to hold that office in the Society’s nine-decade history.
