Maiya Roddick-Fuller
BIOGRAPHY
Maiya Roddick-Fuller is an Associate in HPS’s Carlsbad office. Maiya focuses her practice on healthcare litigation, including the defense of hospitals and doctors. She is particularly interested in defending reproductive healthcare and psychiatric healthcare organizations and providers.
Maiya earned her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law. During her time there, Maiya was an active member on the board of the Health Law Society and clerked at a local medical malpractice defense firm in San Diego for one year. Maiya also worked as a student attorney at the University of San Diego Women’s Legal Clinic where she gained valuable courtroom experience. During the summer, Maiya interned at the CA Attorney General’s Office in the Appeals, Writs, and Trials Department.
Originally from the UK, Maiya relocated to Santa Barbara, CA as a child. She returned to the UK to attend the University of St Andrews where she earned her undergraduate degree in psychology, with honors.
