John Travis Recognized in CDLB, Chicago Lawyers' 40 under Forty Attorneys to Watch for 2023

The Chicago Daily Law Bulletin and Chicago Lawyer have named HPS Partner, John Travis, as one of their 40 under Forty Attorneys to Watch for 2023.
Managing Partner, Marilee Clausing, reflected on John’s recognition, “HPS is proud to count John Travis as its newest member of the distinguished attorneys selected to be included in the Law Bulletin's 40 Under 40. John is a skilled attorney, but even more importantly, a man of impressive integrity and character. We are fortunate to have John as one of our partners at HPS.”
John has experience in a wide range of tort-defense litigation, but specializes in representing physicians, nurses, hospitals, and long-term care providers in an assortment of medical malpractice and professional liability claims. He also focuses a portion of his practice on commercial general liability matters regarding transportation, premises liability, and construction, as well as products liability.
John joined HPS in 2016 and became a partner in 2020. He earned his J.D. from DePaul University College of Law and his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University. John is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and Illinois State Bar Association. He has been repeatedly honored as a “Rising Star” by Illinois Super Lawyers.
