HPS Appellate Team Recognized as a Tier 1 Best Law Firm by Best Lawyers

November 2, 2023

HPS would like to congratulate our Appellate Department for being ranked Tier 1 nationally and Tier 1 in the metropolitan – Chicago area for appellate practice by Best Lawyers® in their Best Law Firms® rankings for 2024! This is the second consecutive year the team has been recognized for this award.

Our HPS Appellate team includes Hugh Griffin (Co-Chair of Appellate Practice), Jacob Goldstein (Co-Chair of Appellate Practice), Tawni Anderson (Partner), Stevie Starnes (Associate), and Laura Hintescu (Paralegal). A large part of the team’s success derives from their support of all eight HPS offices which span across five states, California, Illinois, Florida, Nevada, and Utah. This multijurisdictional experience has made them experts in the nuances of the law across these states. Each individual brings their own set of skills that allows the team to provide complete support to our clients throughout the litigation process.

In 2023, we have seen a robust increase in trials that has required a heightened level of support from our appellate team. HPS is honored to have such an incredibly talented and successful team to help represent our clients.
