Two HPS Attorneys Elevated to Partner

Matthew J. Kaminski and David L. Kalimuthu have been elevated to the partnership at Hall Prangle and Schoonveld, LLC (HPS). The two attorneys earned the promotions by a dedication to excellence and client service.
David Hall, a founding partner at HPS, said that the two joining the partner ranks has made the firm’s bench of attorneys all the deeper. “Their commitment to their craft is impressive and will ensure a large measure of success for years to come. With their addition to our ranks, HPS’s future is shining a little brighter,” he said.

Matt Kaminski joined HPS in 2017, after working in the Labor & Employment Unit of the Cook County State’s Attorney's office. At HPS, Matt focuses his work on the defense of healthcare providers and systems, as well as on employment law matters. Matt navigates both federal and state court actions with equal expertise. He has worked on some of the firm’s highest-profile trials in the last few years.

David Kalimuthu joined HPS just before the COVID lockdown in 2020. Prior to that, he worked at another Chicago area medical malpractice litigation defense firm. His practice is geared towards defending hospitals, healthcare systems and medical professionals. His analytical abilities, litigation skills, and steadfast nature have made him a valuable addition to any defense team.
