Olivia Tomassetti
BIOGRAPHY
Liv Tomassetti is an associate at Hall Prangle, based in the Chicago office. She focuses her practice on the defense of healthcare organizations and medical professionals.
Liv is a DePaul University’s College of Law graduate with a Health Law certificate. At DePaul, Liv was enrolled in the 3+3 Combined BA/JD program, in which she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from DePaul’s undergraduate College of Liberal Arts while simultaneously completing her first year of law school. At DePaul Law, Liv served on the Student Board of Directors for DePaul’s Jaharis Health Law Institute and was a Journal of Health Care Law member. She also was a teaching assistant for two semesters of a health law legal writing and research course.
During law school, Liv clerked at a plaintiff’s personal injury firm and externed for Judge Sheahan in the Law Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County, where she gained invaluable litigation experience. She later joined Hall Prangle as a law clerk and found her passion for medical malpractice defense. In her free time, Liv enjoys spending time with friends and family and serves on the Associate Board for the Chicago chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
