HPS Attorney and Legal Assistant Attend Lavender Law Conference in Washington, DC

Recently, Jeramy Ashton, Attorney, and Sophie Gordon, Legal Assistant, from our Salt Lake City office, had the privilege of attending the 2024 Lavender Law Conference in Washington, DC. Hosted annually by the LGBTQ+ Bar, this conference creates a vital space for discussions on pressing legal issues, networking with peers, and exploring career opportunities—all with the shared goal of advancing a more equitable future. Jeramy and Sophie attended several panels focused on Health Law, including LGBTQ+ family formation, Section 1557, litigation surrounding gender-affirming care, and enhancing legal practice through DEI initiatives. We are proud to support the important work of the LGBTQ+ Bar.
