We are thrilled to congratulate Michele Anderson, Marilee Clausing, Hugh Griffin, and David Hall for their inclusion in the 31ˢᵗ edition of The Best Lawyers in America®, and Kyli Cotten for her recognition in the fifth edition of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America!

The Best Lawyers accolades, based on a comprehensive peer-review survey, reflect the outstanding dedication and expertise of our attorneys. This year, over 27 million evaluations were analyzed, including a record-breaking 4.2 million responses from this year alone. These recognitions are a testament to the remarkable impact our attorneys continue to have on the legal industry.

Michele Anderson is a seasoned litigator with extensive experience defending hospitals and healthcare providers against negligence claims, particularly in obstetrics, nursing, and birth trauma. Marilee Clausing, the Firm’s Managing Partner, dedicates much of her practice to obstetrical and neonatal negligence cases and has successfully taken numerous high-exposure cases to verdict, primarily in Cook County, Illinois. Founding Partner David Hall has tried many of the nation’s most significant medical negligence cases, including some of the highest exposure cases in Cook County history. Hugh Griffin, co-chair of HPS’s Appellate Practice, is recognized as one of the country’s most distinguished appellate attorneys. Kyli Cotten, who focuses on healthcare litigation, brings valuable courtroom experience from her prior work on the plaintiff side.

Congrats to all of our honorees, we are lucky to have you on the HPS team. To read more about Best Lawyers click here.
