We are thrilled to announce that Sapna Lalmalani, Partner at HPS, has been selected as an honoree for the 5th Women in Law: Leaders Leaning In Award by Law Bulletin Media and Chicago Lawyer Magazine.

Fourteen Attorneys at Hall, Prangle and Schoonveld LLC have been recognized as 2024 Super Lawyers or 2024 Rising Stars.

In December 2022, three additional attorneys at Hall Prangle and Schoonveld, LLC were sworn into the Wisconsin Bar, which now makes eight attorneys at the Firm licensed to practice law in that state. HPS partners and associates moved to gain permanent licenses in Wisconsin to better serve clients with healthcare legal and litigation needs in that state. 

Eleven Attorneys at Hall, Prangle and Schoonveld LLC have been recognized as 2023 Super Lawyers or 2023 Rising Stars. Super Lawyers, which is owned by Thomson Reuters, is a national organization that ranks attorneys based on peer nominations that are then reviewed by an independent research team.

In January 2020, HPS attorneys Amy Kane and Sapna Lalmalani secured a defense verdict for their clients in a case arising out of a surgical repair of complex acetabular fractures and a sacral fracture.

In October 2019, HPS attorneys Sapna Lalmalani, Bill Souferis, and Amy Kane secured a defense verdict for their client in a case which stemmed from allegations surrounding the treatment of a post-operative patient

Sapna Lalmalani, a partner at Hall Prangle and Scoonveld (HPS), received the 40 under 40 award from the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin (CDLB) and Chicago Lawyer (CL) at their annual awards dinner on September 19, 2019. CDLB and CL chose the Honorees out of close to 1,000 attorneys who were nominated by their peers in Chicago and Illinois.

Marilee Clausing, Managing Partner, and Sapna Lalmalani, Partner, secured a defense verdict in a case involving allegations that a neonatal death was caused by the medical negligence of the attending obstetrician and OB hospitalist.
