Tyson J. Dobbs
BIOGRAPHY
Tyson Dobbs concentrates his practice in the defense of hospitals, medical professionals, and other healthcare providers against claims of medical negligence. He has experience in cases alleging negligent long-term medical care at rehabilitation and skilled nursing facilities, and is well-versed in the various regulatory and statutory schemes governing the treatment at such facilities. He also has successfully represented healthcare providers in cases involving the treatment of elderly patients, having obtained summary dismissal of elder abuse claims on several occasions.
Tyson served as a judicial extern at the Washington State Court of Appeals and an intern with the Spokane City Prosecuting Attorney’s Office while attending law school at Gonzaga University. After receiving his law degree in 2010, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Kenneth Cory of the Eighth Judicial District Court of Nevada, then spent two years as an associate at Erickson & Whitaker, then called Woods, Erickson & Whitaker, prior to joining Hall Prangle in 2013.
