HPS Welcomes Six New Associates to Our Chicago, Las Vegas, and Reno Offices

Congratulations to our newest associates on passing the bar and becoming licensed attorneys! We are thrilled to welcome them to our Chicago, Las Vegas, and Reno offices! These talented individuals bring diverse backgrounds, impressive accomplishments, and a shared dedication to excellence in healthcare litigation.
Welcome to the team, Gilma Bernal (Chicago), Nina Grover (Chicago), Luke Henrie (Reno), Sam Schwab (Chicago), Nicholas Stoll (Las Vegas), and Olivia Tomassetti (Chicago)!
Gilma Bernal earned her J.D. from Loyola University School of Law, where she was Associate Editor of the Annals of Health Law and Life Sciences. She focuses on healthcare litigation, particularly fertility and reproductive technology cases, and is an active member of the ABA’s Health Law Section and the Section of Administrative Law and Regulatory Practice.
Nina Grover is a University of Illinois College of Law graduate who excelled in trial advocacy, winning national competitions. She has a background in political science and is passionate about defending healthcare organizations.
Luke Henrie is a University of Idaho College of Law graduate with experience in appellate advocacy and moot court. He clerked for a federal judge and brings strong litigation skills to his healthcare defense practice.
Sam Schwab earned his J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where he was a student clinician at Loyola’s esteemed Civitas Child Law Center. He has gained diverse litigation experience through judicial externships and law clerk roles.
Nicholas Stoll earned his J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law with honors in Health Law and Compliance Studies. A former HPS law clerk, Nicholas brings experience from judicial externships and personal injury law.
Olivia Tomassetti earned both her B.A. and J.D. from DePaul University, where she specialized in health law. During law school, she gained experience clerking at a plaintiff’s personal injury firm and externing for Judge Sheahan in the Law Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County. Olivia later joined HPS as a law clerk, where she discovered her passion for medical malpractice defense.
